The evolutionary hybrid design improves on standard "bow-tie" antennas by boosting gain 2 to 3 times on VHF high band. The result is a compact, vertically oriented antenna with outstanding DTV performance. The wide beamwidth allows the HD1080 to lock in on broadcast TV towers close together or spaced far apart for complete programming reception.
