***Halogen will have a greatly reduced life if foreign materials such as oils, dirt, moisture are contaminating the glass portion. Do not hand with bare hands or finger, if you inadvertently touch the bulb clean it with a lint free cloth moistened with alcohol. Halogen bulbs should not be operated in excess of 110% voltage. Halogen lamps, by nature, operate at high temperature and under pressure and may shatter unexpectedly.
