Shipping Information Regarding Raceway and Slotted Ducting

Due to the length (6 and 8 foot) of raceway and slotted ducting there is additional fees charged by UPS and FedEx.  These fees are as follows:

• 6 foot raceway and slotted ducting are charged as 30lbs
• 8 foot raceway and slotted ducting are charged as 70lbs
• Both lengths endure an additional handling fee of $6

Our online shipping calculator cannot be properly configured to these criteria. The shipping cost is calculated correctly for the 1st piece of raceway/ducting; however, if additional pieces are added to the cart the shipping fee will be too high. Refer to the example below to see how shipping will be calculated.

Example if shipping 6' raceway to zip code: 10001 (New York, NY)*

• 1 piece would cost $31.56 to ship (this the true shipping cost for up to 40 pieces)
• Therefore any amount from 1 to 40 pieces would also cost $31.56 to ship

*Note the shipping amount shown is subject to change as reflected in the current shipping rates of UPS and FedEx.  FedEx ground rates shown, calculated on June 13, 2006. 

Unless you are only ordering 1 stick of raceway/ducting, the calculated shipping is incorrect.  This amount will be corrected when we import your order. 

Additionally the weight will sometimes become too high for FedEx ground to calculate, and the option for ground will not be there--if this occurs please list ground shipping in the comments field of your order.
