Red Insulating Varnish: alkyd-based compound, especially resistant to environmental extremes including oils, water and most acids and alkalis. Retains its high dielectric strength even when wet and is, therefore, especially adaptable to the insulation of electrical and electronic devices or components which may be operated in very humid climates and up to 250° F (121° C). For general insulation of coils, transformers, motor windings and for all-around protection against oxidation and atmospheric attacks.
